Kirsty Tremayne
ARAD, PDTD, RAD RTS
Principal & Teacher
Kirsty began studying the RAD and ISTD syllabi from the age of 5. She developed a real passion for ballet and dance and decided to pursue performing arts as a career. In 2006, Kirsty gained a full scholarship to attend Northern Ballet School and performed in many full length classical ballets such as Swan Lake, The Nutcracker and Coppélia with Manchester City Ballet. During her time at NBS, Kirsty achieved Distinction in her RAD Advanced 2 ballet exam. After graduation, she embarked on a career travelling around the world performing in many genres of dance including Classical Ballet, Musical Theatre, Tap, Ballroom, Latin American and Jazz.In 2016, Kirsty gained a place on the prestigious Professional Dancers Teaching Diploma course at the Royal Academy of Dance where she graduated with Registered Teachers Status (RTS). She is also a registered teacher with the ISTD and a certified Acrobatic Arts teacher. Her current and past teaching credits include The MGA Academy of Performing Arts (Ballet Tutor – Undergraduate courses), Stellar Musical Theatre Company (Ballet teacher & Choreographer), Alba Ballet (Choreographer), The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (Lecturer in Modern Ballet – Junior Conservatoire), Scottish Ballet Junior Associates and Hamilton Theatre Arts. Kirsty is also a certified teacher in both DDMIX (a dance fitness program developed by Darcey Bussell) and Progressing Ballet Technique. Kirsty is delighted and honoured to have been a finalist for two awards - 'The Royal Academy of Dance Centenary Early Teaching Career Award' (2020) and the 'One Dance UK Rising Star Award' (2019).
Erin Gallagher

Ballet Teacher
Erin began dancing at the age of 3 at The Valerie Brown School of Dance and Drama in Hamilton following the RAD and ISTD syllabi taking weekly classes in Ballet, Modern and Tap. She later attended ballet classes with Scottish Ballet Associates and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Erin was a competitive Highland Dancer, taking weekly classes working towards competitions each weekend, culminating with the world championships for Highland Dancing.
She also studied contemporary dance with Glasgow Youth Dance Company and Lanarkshire Youth Dance which led to performance opportunities including the opening ceremony for the Children’s Games and Commonwealth Games.
In 2017, Erin gained a place at the Royal Academy of Dance in London and completed a BA (Hons) degree in Ballet Education. Alongside her degree, Erin completed the Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Dance (LRAD)
After 5 years of teaching at many dance schools across central London, Erin returned to Glasgow to continue teaching.
Georgie Morphet

Georgie’s dance journey began at a young age in Yorkshire before gaining a place at Elmhurst Ballet School where she stayed for 5 years. Georgie then moved to Glasgow after being accepted onto the BA Modern Ballet course at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Since graduating in 2022, Georgie has pursued her love of teaching, beginning her career at RCS and has recently been a guest teacher for Scottish Ballet’s tour of Cinders.
Georgie is excited to join the team at Allégro Dance Academy and is looking forward to helping support the dancers to flourish.
Charlotte Adams
Class Assistant
Charlotte has a keen interest in ballet and dance and has been a student at Allégro Dance Academy since 2018. She is now at Glasgow University studying Law and English Literature and is continuing to work towards her RAD Ballet exams at ADA. Charlotte loves assisting with the Junior school classes throughout the week.
Joy Tremayne

Joy is happy to answer general queries and assist with new enquiries via email providing detailed information about the registration process. She also has extensive knowledge of uniform requirements having been a dance mum since the 90s! You will often see Joy at our various locations when she visits Glasgow.
